Display

Getting started with Windows 98 is a multistep process, but lets get started with a simple thing, getting the proper resolution and colors.

First, left click the Windows icon in the bottom left corner of the "monitor", the display you are using to use and interact with Windows 98.

Next, hover over the "Settings" tab, which should have an icon of a gear on it.

Now, once your mouse is hovering over the "Control Panel" tab, left click to open the Control Panel."

After that, double left click "Display"

After that, look for the tab at the top of the window that says "Settings", and click on it."

On this screen, you'll be able to change your screen resolution and the amount of colors your monitor will use. I have a special video card that allows me to scale to a higher screen resolution and use 32-bit colors!
